When most people think about Sparkles Family Fun Centers, the first thing they envision is our roller-skating. This is due to our long history in the roller skatingbusiness. Besides roller-skating, Sparkles Family Fun Centers in Hiram/ Kennesaw has an amazing laser tag arena. In order to fully explain how awesome the laser tag is, I’ll walk you through my first laser tag experience.
Before heading into laser tag room I was given a laser tag vest, equipped with a laser gun for zapping your opponents. After your group is situated with vests and laser guns, you are given instructions by the laser tag staff before being released into the arena.
When the staff gave us the go ahead, I took position with everyone into the laser tag room. Within seconds, I turned the corner to find my opponents shooting at me. I quickly redirect my laser gun and start firing at my opponent. The laser guns will let you know when you are shooting an opponent, when you tag someone, and when you are being shot at. These sounds are important for knowing when to run and hide.
The game can last various lengths of time but we had chosen the ten minute game. Ten full minutes were spent running, hiding, and dodging lasers. Luckily, I didn’t finish last, but next time I will know the perfect hiding and shooting spots.
