Presidents Day is just a day you get off from work and school – right? Wrong. Presidents Day is intended to recognize all of the American presidents, primarily George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and the contributions they made to our country. The holiday was established in 1968 when the 90th Congress determined to create a uniform system of federal Monday holidays, this law officially took effect in 1971.
The best part about Presidents Day though is that school will be out and we will be open! From 1p-8p on Presidents Day we will have $5 Admission and $4 skate rental! With lazer tag, a two story playzone for kids 10 and under, and an arcade – we’ve got fun for the whole family under one roof!
