The hardest part of parenting is getting the family together. Dinner is hard enough and fun for the family can be challenging, but yet it can be so easy. Sparkles Kennesaw has some simple tips that can get the whole family to learn and try new things while having fun!
- First and most importantly, as adults allow yourself to think as a kid of any age. Ask yourself: What was it that I liked to do to when I was young? What was my fondest memory as a kid? What was something that I wished I did when I was a child? Question yourself and put yourself in their shoes. What was fun for me at that age? Take that answer and do it. Go ahead jump in the pile of leaves. You know you want to.
- Don’t over complicate it. Do not search for something to do on this certain day at that time. Let it flow. When it comes, embrace it and let the fun begin. Get away from the constant structure and be creative. If it is on a weekend, great. If it’s during the week so what, do it. Life is too short. Live it and don’t let it pass by.
- Encourage the kids at an early age to follow their natural curiosities. Young children are looking at the world with inexperienced eyes, and everything is new to them. Join them in picking up a favorite leaf when Fall starts and experience the world anew, just as your children are!
- No matter what age of the kids, toddler to teenage and adult to the second childhood the whole family can have fun, learn and grow together to build stronger memories. It’s all about seizing the moment and allowing the adults to be kids again.
